Run for The Theatre - Oxford Half Marathon 12 October 2025
We have 10 charity spaces for the Oxford Half Marathon on 12 October 2025.
Be part of our first ever Theatre Team for this iconic event and bring a bit of Chippy magic to the Oxford Half!
The fast and flat Oxford Half takes runners through the winding streets of historic Oxford. The route begins in the city centre and passes through the stunning sites of Old Marston village, the River Cherwell, Oxford University’s impressive Lady Margaret Hall, before finally finishing on Parks Road.
Fundraisers are asked to pay a registration fee of £20 to confirm your place and commit to raise at least £200 in sponsorship for The Theatre. We will support you with fundraising pages, ideas and encouragement. You will also receive a Chippy Theatre running vest for the event, and our enormous gratitude.
This event has sold out for the last two years so running for The Theatre is a great way to test your running ability whilst supporting a local charity.

Collections are a great way to raise awareness of The Theatre in local communities and raise money towards our vital work.
Host a donation box at your workplace, in your community or tell us about an event we might be able to come along too and get fundraising!
School Fundraising
If you are looking for a local charity to support for your school then why not raise money for your local Theatre, right here in the heart of Chipping Norton.
Friends of the Theatre Support Group
This wonderful group of pro-active Friends of the Theatre organise special events to raise money to support us. They are always pleased to welcome volunteers, bakers and anyone keen to help.
Their recent fundraising events have included -
Literary Lunch last year on October 16th with international best selling crime-writer Clare Mackintosh as guest speaker.
Chastleton Teas raising money selling drinks and homemade cakes at Chastleton Church throughout the summer season.
