About James Rowland - Learning to Fly

This event goes on sale to Friends & Patrons of The Theatre on Tuesday 27th August 12pm, and on General sale on Tuesday 3rd September at 12pm.

In Learning to Fly, acclaimed writer, storyteller and performer James Rowland tells the story of a remarkable friendship he made when he was a lonely, unhappy teenager with the scary old lady who lived in the spooky house on his street.

It’s about connection, no matter what the obstacles; about love’s eternal struggle with time; about music and its ability to heal.

It’s also about her last wish: to get high once before she died.

We at The Theatre Chipping Norton believe passionately that art is for everyone. Therefore, we are proud to be continuing our programme of of Pick A Price events.
