We have lined up a great selection of Films this summer from Tom Hanks in the Vatican City in Angles and Demons to Daniel Radcliffe fighting off dementors in the Half Blood Prince. I am sure that everyone will find something to suit.
To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the landing on the moon we are, in collaboration with Science Oxford, screening 2001: A Space Odyssey (U). We are very privileged to welcome Dr Ian Griffin, astronomer and CEO of Science Oxford, to give a short talk, before the film, exploring some of the science behind the movie – from space exploration, to the planets and our Solar System. Plus weather permitting; please join us for a telescope tryout at the Rollright Stones with Chipping Norton Amateur Astronomy Group.
