Technical Manager

Salary: £20-£21,000. Full time, based in Chipping Norton 

Closing date: 10:00 on Monday 16 October 2017

A Technical Manager is sought to lead the technical team of this ambitious and restlessly busy producing and receiving theatre/arts centre in the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds. The Technical Manager will provide and manage a safe, well-equipped, professional working environment and uphold our reputation as one of the country’s friendliest venues.

Professional technical experience or training required, with a working knowledge of and love for the arts. Strong administrative and management skills/experience required. As the Theatre both receives and produces performances, skills in Stage Management, Production Management, Lighting and live sound will all be valued.

An exciting, demanding job for an energetic candidate – this role is at the heart of the creative life of this restlessly busy theatre and arts centre. Working closely with the Artistic Director, the role takes on producing our three annual in-house production runs, including national touring and transfers. Candidates should have experience of the theatre making process, be organised, flexible and ambitious, and good at bringing teams together.  This post is suitable for early-mid-career candidates.

Programming/Arts Admin Assistant

Salary: £15,000 pa, Full Time position

A new full time role at The Theatre that supports Programming, Marketing and Take Part. It is an ideal post for someone looking to gain their first role within the arts industry, or looking to move into the arts industry from an administrative role in another sector. The job is diverse, demanding a degree of flexibility, a high level of multi-tasking organisation, and lots of energy! It is central to The Theatre's day to day running and will engage with all deparments in our friendly and creatve team.
